Amora Terms of Service

By creating an Amora profile, you agree to these Terms. They’re written plainly so you actually know what you’re agreeing to.

1. Who can use Amora

You must be 18 years or older.
You must be a real person creating your own profile — no bots, no impersonation.
One person, one account.

2. What we promise

To do our best to introduce you to compatible people based on your preferences.
To verify users through our AI selfie check and remove obvious fakes when reported.
To provide an AI coach today, with live 1:1 human coaching from Gianni launching soon.
To process payments securely through Stripe and Apple, never storing your card.

3. What we don’t promise

That you’ll find your soulmate, get a date, fall in love, or get married. Dating is hard — we’re a tool, not a guarantee.
That every match will respond, be honest, or be a great human. Use good judgment when meeting people.
That the service will be available 100% of the time — we may have maintenance windows.

4. Your conduct

Be respectful. No harassment, hate speech, threats, or unwanted sexual content.
No fake profiles, catfishing, or impersonation.
No solicitation, spam, illegal activity, scams, or commercial promotion.
No nudity or explicit photos.
If you violate these rules, we can remove your profile, ban your device, and (where appropriate) report you to authorities.

5. Subscriptions & payments

VIP membership ($9.99/month) unlocks unlimited messaging across all matches. Auto-renews monthly until you cancel.
Founder Call ($100, one-time, coming soon) will book a 30-minute 1:1 call with Gianni once bookings open. Non-transferable.
Cancel anytime: Stripe customers from amora.app/account; Apple users from Settings → Subscriptions; Google users from Play Store.
Refunds: VIP is non-refundable for the current billing period. If a Founder Call is cancelled by us (not by you), we refund in full. If you cancel a Founder Call >24h before the slot, we refund 50%. No refunds <24h.
Prices may change. We’ll give 30 days notice in-app before any price increase.

6. Content you create

You own the photos, videos, and bio you upload.
By uploading, you give Amora a non-exclusive license to display them inside the app to other users you match with. We don’t use your content for advertising or sell it.
You confirm you have the right to upload everything you upload.

7. Safety

Meet new matches in public places. Tell a friend where you’ll be.
Never send money to anyone you met on Amora — scams happen on every dating app.
Report unsafe behavior to hello@helloamora.app.

8. Liability

Amora is provided “as-is.” To the maximum extent allowed by law, Amora, Gianni Gist, and our service providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app or interactions with other users. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the greater of $100 or what you’ve paid us in the past 12 months.

9. Termination

You can delete your account anytime in Profile → Sign out & start over.
We can suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms or harms other users.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Gianni Gist resides. Disputes will be resolved in the state and federal courts of that state, unless local consumer law requires otherwise.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms over time. Material changes will be announced in-app before they take effect. Continued use after the change means you accept the new Terms.
